Travellers tip: Poole, Dorset

After several times of weather forecast checking at BBC website, we eventually came to a decision to book 2 tickets to Poole, Dorset, a place that has been told to have the best beach in Britain. It's very tempting since we know we have picked a good day to enjoy seaside!
Then due to limited time that we might have to discover the place, we've decided to get a coach (national express) from Heathrow Airport instead of London.
Actually the idea to go to Poole has popped up in our mind since 2 months ago, but we somehow hesitated to go there earlier due to lack of infos about the place that we have. We've asked several people including those who have been in the UK for quite a long time (even 1 of them has resided in the UK for 11 years) but none of them could provide the info that we need. Therefore we argue ourselves, is this really a good place to visit? 
However we have this 'jiwa kembara' burning inside ourselves, we definitely positive that this place's worth to try. Some people say, "U might get grievous, if u went to a place but the place turned to be not as fascinating as described, but u'll get nothing if u don't go anywhere."
So early in that morning, we prepared ourselves (actually the wife did) nasik goreng, ayam goreng and frankfurter as our lunch set (I tell u, if u want to travel bring ayam goreng along, because it's very practical and suitable to ur melayu bladder). Then we started our journey at 7.45 am from the Greenway and arrived in Poole at 10.50 am.
Then here the infos that we want to share with those who are interested to go to this place. We start wth the nice things first:
1) Poole is a very 'nice' town (so cliché right?, but really it won't harm u, no kick at all, but chill, we are here to enjoy seaside!) with a huge shopping mall called dolphin shopping centre. They say the mall is 1 of the biggest indoor mall in Britain, and it's just in front of the bus station. The toilet inside the mall is also foc and "enjoyable".
2) U can get to many places near Poole by bus, the cost for 1 day travel pass is only GBP 3.70.
3) Since we have no concrete plan and came here just for the sake of justifying the beach is the best in Britain, we decided to go to the Sandbanks beach only. To go there you can take bus no 52 from the central bus station or by walk, but it's really far than expected (just 3 miles but might take over 1 hour walking). We have walked from Poole town centre to Lilliput only, because then we gave up and took bus from there to Sandbanks. But the scenary along the way to Lilliput was really magnificent. The walk will bring U passing Poole Park where u can enjoy the scenary of an english park with cricket field, kids theme park, flowers garden etc, and also Poole lake with yacht harbour, small marina, remote controlled yacht area and fishing spot. The surrounding is quite serene I would promise u.
4) Then we have arrived at Sandbanks about midnoon. The temperature is very very not so friendly to the well- tanned people like us. The view however was really well composed with golden beach, greenish sea and blueish sky, made ur life chill (provided that u wear sunglasses, without that it might get ur life too flashy, and u can also enjoy flash **** unnoticed  ).
The cons:
1) The bus to Sandbanks from Poole travels only once in one hour.
2) If u really want to enjoy Poole area, like Bournemouth, Durdle Door, Swanage etc, it's better u get a car.
3) The beach is like a desert. There is no place to shelter  . Hello, we are already perfectly tanned, we don't need that creamy yummy sun protector cream to lay on the beach because we are already happy and confident with our current apperance. So as an advice from the more experient u might need an umbrella or tent to shelter urselves. Then ur trip to the Sandbanks will be more meaningful (Just see urselves the photos above).
To sum up, Poole is a very good place, but not so breath taking, to go with the family, with a 7 miles long beach one will have more than enough space to enjoy the beach. Now we know why this place is not so favorable to the malay, because it is so not public transport user friendly. That's all, keep in touché!

hmm kali ni tak ada idea nk edit gambar mcm mana. Kebetulan kaamee ada bg satu video software baru2 ni. Tgh bljr2 pakai. Byk lagi cacat cela pd photostory ni.
